The retreat provides families with seriously ill children a week’s holiday free of charge and a chance to spend time with their loved ones. It is specifically designed for families who have a child with a chronic/long-term illness, suffered a recent loss of a child, or have a parent with a life-threatening illness.

The retreat is located on the banks of Lake Rotorua. The site was chosen because of its central location and the close proximity to the family attractions that Rotorua has to offer.
